Adafruit NAU7802 24-Bit ADC - STEMMA QT / Qwiic is a high-resolution differential ADC breakout designed for reading strain gauges, load cells, and other 4-wire sensors wired in a Wheatstone bridge configuration. It combines the NAU7802 with onboard gain and calibration support, making it well suited for precise force, weight, and strain measurement projects.
The board provides convenient terminal connections for bridge sensors, along with an I2C interface for fast integration with microcontrollers and single-board computers. STEMMA QT / Qwiic compatibility makes solderless prototyping easy, while the fixed-address I2C design keeps setup straightforward.
As the connected sensor flexes or experiences load, tiny resistance changes in the bridge are converted into very small differential voltages. The NAU7802 amplifies and digitises these signals so your Arduino, CircuitPython, or Python project can turn them into meaningful measurement data.
Technical details for the Adafruit NAU7802 breakout.
