The AX-12A utilizes a TTL serial communication protocol, allowing for daisy-chaining multiple servos together to create complex servo systems with fewer wires. It operates at a range of baud rates, from 7,843bps to 1Mbps, giving speed and flexibility in communication.
It has a resolution of 0.29° deg/pulse and step of 1 pulse/rev offering precise control over movements, also the servo can be controlled in terms of position, speed and torque.
