Overview
The Radiomaster Zorro Radio Controller (M2) is a compact, feature-rich transmitter designed for RC enthusiasts. With its ergonomic design, advanced gimbals, and support for multiple RF configurations, the Zorro is the perfect choice for pilots of all skill levels. It features an adjustable Hall sensor gimbals for smooth and precise control, with optional AG01 MINI CNC Hall gimbals for even greater customization. Its 128x64 monochrome LCD display is bright and perfectly positioned for optimal viewing. The transmitter is lightweight, weighing just 355g (without batteries), and compact, with dimensions of 170x159x108mm, making it ideal for travel and portability.
The Zorro supports multiple RF configurations, including CC2500, 4in1, ELRS, ELRS Starter Set, and CC2500 + TBS Nano Crossfire Combo. It operates on a 2.4GHz frequency, with the Crossfire Combo version also supporting 868/915MHz. The transmitter includes a Nano module bay, compatible with TBS Nano Crossfire, Nano Tracer, and IRC Ghost modules, offering flexibility for various use cases.
It is powered by two 18350 900mAh batteries (not included) and supports USB-C QC3 fast charging. It also allows for an external 2S battery power supply. The working voltage ranges from 6.6V to 8.4V DC, with a working current of 130-180mA for most versions and 310-350mA for ELRS versions. Firmware updates are simple, with support for USB/SD card upgrades via EdgeTX Companion. The transmitter comes preinstalled with EdgeTX firmware, with optional support for OpenTX.
Additional features include a 3.5mm MONO trainer socket, a single speaker for audio output, and a 256MB SD card (expandable up to 8GB). The Zorro also supports multi-protocol compatibility, with a full list of supported protocols available online. The transmitter is designed for convenience, with switchable modes (Mode 1 and Mode 2) that can be changed without disassembly, and an external module bay for use with Crossfire, ELRS, and other compatible modules.
