Overview
The SpeedyBee TX800 is a 5.8GHz video transmitter (VTX) designed for FPV (First-Person View) drone enthusiasts and professionals. TX800 provides adjustable output power levels, including PIT, 25mW, 200mW, 400mW, and 800mW, ensuring optimal range across various flying scenarios.
It supports the IRC Tramp protocol, enabling users to remotely configure transmission settings such as frequency and power output, either via remote control or through the SpeedyBee App if the flight controller supports Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
Built for efficiency and convenience, the TX800 operates on a voltage range of 3.7V to 5V, with current consumption between 250mA and 750mA, depending on the power level. The video input impedance is set at 75 Ohms, and the device features an MMCX antenna connector for secure and reliable connections.
With a compact PCB size of 28mm x 28mm and a 20mm x 20mm mounting pattern, the TX800 fits seamlessly into most drone builds. The lightweight design, weighing just 5.6 grams (excluding the antenna), ensures minimal impact on flight performance.
Additional features include Pit Mode, which reduces interference during drone power-on when flying with other pilots in close proximity.
For flexible installation, the TX800 supports both JST socket and pad connections. The SpeedyBee TX800 combines advanced functionality with user-friendly features, making it an ideal choice for FPV flying giving reliable video transmission.
