The HC-SR04 is a trustworthy, reliable and most affordable ultrasonic distance sensor that measures the distance to an object by emitting ultrasonic sound waves and then timing the reflection from the object.
It offers a wide range, capable of measuring distances from 2cm to 400cm, with high accuracy typically around 3mm. It features a simple interface with only four pins: Vcc, Trig, Echo, and GND. It has low power consumption and is designed to be durable and compact, ensuring minimal power draw and a robust, small-sized build.
